The success stories of our members often include descriptions of wise mentors, males and females, who made the effort to help grow careers through un-official mentoring relationships. In honor of this time-tested technique, CREW Network has created the eMentoring program for its members and chapters to use. No group is better suited to mentor women in commercial real estate than CREW Network. The CREW Network eMentoring program is a continuation of CREW Network’s career outreach agenda with the following overarching goals:

  • Improve parity and diversity in a male dominated industry.
  • Build a talent pipeline for future female professionals in commercial real estate.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support growth and success.
  • Increase leadership and career development skills of CREW Network leaders and members.

The CREW Network eMentoring program is a four-step process that will provide a rich tapestry of principles organized in a easy-to-understand format. It will condense each protégé’s learning into four consecutive stages: Engage, Envision, Empower and Expand. Each phase includes basic topical information about one of the core stages with exercises and directions, and where to find accompanying activities for each mentor and protégé.

There are a number of books available on mentoring but few resources exist that provide a simple and effective structure for learning that includes process tools, tips and techniques for principle-based learning and productive follow-through.The CREW Network eMentoring program combines reading and practice exercises available via download in PDF format. Each module will give the user added suggestions, insight and guidance in all the processes to make the eMentoring experience fun and rewarding. Each module builds on the next, and is unique for its simple and straight forward structure.
