Council Meeting & New Delegate Training

NEW DELEGATE TRAINING
Thursday, February 7 | 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
New Delegates will learn how to effectively represent the interests of their chapters throughout 2008. In addition to learning expectations of their role, delegates will learn about current CREW Network initiatives, branding messages, leadership opportunities and how to communicate all of this back to their respective chapters. This is an important learning session that every new delegate should plan to attend.

RETURNING DELEGATES AND CHAPTER LEADERS
Returning delegates and chapter leaders should plan to arrive in time on Thursday, February 8 to attend the Welcome Reception beginning at 5:30 p.m.

WELCOME RECEPTION
Thursday, February 7 | 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm
This is an important opportunity for delegates and chapter leaders to connect with their counterparts across North America and expand business and chapter networks. This is a unique chance for representatives to learn what other chapters are doing to provide value to their members and to establish their presence in their local commercial real estate community. Business cards are a “must” at this event. (Poolside if weather permits.)

COUNCIL MEETING
Friday, February 8 | 8:00 am to 10:15 am
Enjoy a continental breakfast beginning at 7:30 am and then review the assigned seating chart to find your place in the meeting. It is important to be seated promptly by 8:00 am as there will be much to cover in a short period of time. While meeting minutes will be provided after the meeting, many find it helpful to take their own notes as well.

Board Hosted Dine Arounds
Thursday, February 7 | 6:30 pm

Each chapter has an assigned board member serving as its liaison to the Network. Join your board liaison and representatives from other chapters in your group for a networking dinner with an emphasis on sharing your chapter best prectices, challenges or current trends. Each diner will be responsible for covering the cost of her own meal. (Cash is recommended.)
